The Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna Workshop) was a melting pot of fine and applied art that gave a completely new perspective on life, freed from the shackles of the past. The interpretation of Art Nouveau by the Viennese “Jugendstil” artists, broke both the boundaries of banal, everyday objects and complex architectural challenge. They experimented with all conceivable manner of materials and surface textures.

The freedom and elegance of this bygone era breathe afresh in WELTWIEN through the architecture, design and modern art of this extensively revitalised building: And are alive in the here and now. The innovations and ideas of Josef Hoffmann and the Wiener Werkstätte are invoked by architects, artists and designers to this very day.

The attention to detail and the comfort offered make this place an essential choice for a stay in Vienna. The WELTWIEN is a remarkable combination of elegance and functionality. The location is ideal, only a 30–40 minute walk from the center of Vienna, which allowed us to take pleasant walks and explore the city. What really set this aparthotel apart was the incredible cleanliness of the apartment. I can highly recommend this accommodation. Check-in went smoothly, with clear instructions and information that made our stay much easier.

The team was amazing! They gave us all the information we needed at check-in and one staff member even stayed late to greet us personally and take us on a tour of the apartment. They asked us every day if we needed anything and when we checked out they helped us store our luggage until it was time to go to the airport. The room was perfect, very cleanly designed and stocked with some free snacks and water.

The apartment was amazing, with a beautiful bathroom and balcony. We received a welcome gift with some snacks and custom WELTWIEN candy which was delicious. Everything was clean and there were no noises from the neighbouring apartments, the apartment is soundproofed well. The room is spacious and the wardrobe is big enough for 2 people. There is also a desk upstairs. The metro station is 5min away from the apartments, making it easy to travel around town. We will happily come back!

We had an amazing stay at WELTWIEN, the apartment was very modern, clean and comfortable. It is close to public transportation and very easy to get into the center. Best of all was the staff. Shout out to the staff, they were absolutely fantastic. I proposed to my girlfriend at the weekend and a member of staff very kindly decorated the room which was beautiful and she also gave me some useful tips for the area - 5 star service! I would 100% recommend this hotel, it offers great value for money and we will definitely be back! Thanks again!

INTERSPAR grocery shop nearby, public transport not far from the hotel, lively Meidlinger Markt with great restaurants and Cafes. We really loved the Hotel and enjoyed our holidays. I stayed at the WELTWIEN Apartments with my family and was able to enjoy Vienna to the fullest. The large design apartment with great terrace, fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioned bedroom and design bathroom: we had everything our hearts desired. My wife was totally thrilled, she really admired the pictures everywhere in the hotel and sculptures in the garden (ARTYARD). Outstanding, quiet and yet directly connected to public transport. And Schönbrunn Palace: we walked there and were inspired by the wonderful castle: Vienna and the WELTWIEN Apartments will surely see us again.

Great vacation in the middle of an aspiring but not touristy district. Very nicely and classy designed, simple but extremely elegant, modern apartments with fully equipped kitchen. Everything was thought of, even coffee tabs, tea bags, sugar and salt/pepper (coordinated with the overall design concept) were provided. And above all totally clean, that is very important to us.

A great apartment hotel, which we would absolutely recommend! The hotel is lovely decorated with some cool details and has a nice overall concept. Our studio apartment was comfortable, very well equipped and the shower as well as the kitchen were great. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and we received some good tips for the surrounding area as well as recommendations for breakfast. The backyard / Art Yard was also really great, as was the immediate proximity to Meidlinger Markt.
